Ingredients – gluten free oats, vegetable margarine (palm and rapeseed oil, water, salt, E471, colors (Annatto, Curcurmin), flavouring), sugar, golden syrup, caramel (sweetened condensed milk, butter, sugar, golden syrup), sweetened cranberries (sugar, cranberries, sunflower oil), plain chocolate chunks (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, soya lecithin, vanilla), sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds.
Recently, we had a family trip to the theatre. As it was a children’s show, it was in the morning so the interval was more like elevenses. I was pleased to be able to buy a gluten free cake with my coffee at the theatre. It really shows that there are gluten free options almost everywhere. So they earn points for showing willing. That said, this is not my favourite gf snack. They have gone down the “let’s replace the gluten with sugar and fat, lots and lots of sugar and fat” route. It was so sugary that I actually ate a half at a time over two days because any more would have been too sweet.
